Obituary content Dolores Joy Bell, age 76, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025. Dolores was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted Catholic.
Born on September 25, 1948, and throughout her life, she embodied kindness, love, and unwavering faith. She was the cherished wife of the late William J. Bell, with whom she built a beautiful life filled with love, faith, and dedication to their family. Together, they created a home where love and laughter were abundant, and where family was always the heart.
Dolores found strength and solace in the time spent with her family & friends. She was a devoted mother to Denise Schneider (husband Walter Schneider) and Michael Junda (girlfriend Courtney Bell), and a proud grandmother to Jacob Fiedler, Ariel Burlingham, Alex Fiedler, and Caitlin Junda.
Dolores' passing leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the stories she shared, the love she gave.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Dolores' honor. A celebration of life welcoming family and friends will be held at her home on Friday, April 4th between 12-2 p.m.
May she rest in peace, and may her legacy of love and faith continue to inspire us all.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Ms Dolores. She was a sweet, kind lady.
We met her when she lived in our neighborhood in Pikeville NC.

My sincere condolences to the whole family.
Our friendship started in 1980 when we both started working at BASF. At the beginning we even shared a computer. I saw Denise and Michael grow up and we laughed at many of their mischiefs. After she and Bill moved to NC we did not see each other very often but on the rare occasions she came to NJ, we always managed to spend a day together reminiscing about the past and it was like we never got apart. We also spent countless hours on the phone catching up. I will miss those calls. I was glad to be able to speak to her a few weeks ago not realizing it would be the last time. Rest in peace my dear friend. You have done a beautiful job raising your two children.

Dolores (Dee) and I have been friends for over 50 years. We laughed and cried together, and would talk for hours at a time. A better friend I´ll never have. Say hi to Bill from us, we´ll miss you always.
