Dolores Jean Bennett

Our dear momma, Dolores Jean Honaker Bennett, passed away at her home, at the age of 85, in Ronceverte WV, on June 24, 2023 where she was lovingly cared for by her grandson, Evan and his wife, Kendra.
Dolores was born in Caldwell, WV to Virgil and Mary Honaker, May 27th, 1938. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Orlie Bennett, and siblings, Robert Honaker, Charles Honaker, Edward Honaker, Helen Mann, Gary Honaker, and James Honaker.
She was a wonderful mother not only to her 3 girls but to many who called her Mom and Mawmaw over the years. She enjoyed yard sales, going to the beach, and road trips but mostly she loved her family.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Shari Ellison of Chesterfield, VA, Donna Beavers of Ronceverte, WV, and Tina Wingard (Thomas) of Delray Beach, FL; Grandchildren, Tara Stewart, Hayley Brown, Hannah Haynes, Elijah Haynes, Kayla Weber, Brandy Barnes, Evan Beavers, Savannah Beavers and Dawson Beavers, along with 10 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Bobby and Wayne Honaker, both of Montvale, Virginia.
Viewing will be from 6 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday evening, June 27, 2023 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Burial will follow at Adwell Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to gather at her home after the funeral.
