November 13, 1929 - January 17, 2026

Dolores Blanchetti. Age 96 of Southgate.

Dolores passed away peacefully under the care of hospice at Forest View Assisted Living in Brownstown.

Dolores was a devoted sister, aunt, friend and animal lover whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. She is survived by her special nephew Mark Przygocki, niece Debra Joy and nephew Tim (Pat) Joy, her grandnephews Nic Girouard, Justin (Trish) Girouard Zack (Alexis Duffey) Girouard, Michael Joy, Scott Joy and great grandniece Lavender Girouard. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Angelica Blanchetti, Margaret Joy, her parents John and Annie and dearest friend Delphine Przygocki with whom she is joyfully reunited with in heaven.

Dolores loved all animals especially Sassy, her Shih Tzu who was her constant companion whom she adored and spoiled.

Please, no flowers as Dolores felt the money could be spent for so many people and animals in need. Therefore, donations are appreciated to Wyandotte Animal Adoption Center or the Pallottine Fathers Missions.

Visitation Sunday January 25, 2026 3-7 PM at Molnar Funeral Homes, 14032 Northline Road, Southgate. Funeral service Monday, January 26, 2026. Instate 9:30 AM until time of Mass, at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent Pallotti Parish at St. Joseph Catholic Church. 334 Elm Street, Wyandotte. Private burial at Glen Eden Cemetery.
