Dolores Esparza (nee Solis)

Dolores Esparza (nee Solis), age 94, late of South Chicago, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2025. She was a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to love, family, and resilience.

Dolores was the beloved wife of the late Martin A. Esparza. Together, they nurtured a loving family that brought joy and camaraderie to their home. She was the loving mother of Carmen Alvarado, Juan Esparza, Mary Esparza, Maximino Esparza, and Pablo Esparza. She is also remembered by her children for her unwavering support and guidance. Dolores was preceded in death by her son, Martin Esparza, Jr. and her daughter, Rosemary Esparza, who she joins in eternal rest.

As a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, Dolores leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom carries cherished memories of time spent with their beloved matriarch. Her kindness and wisdom will continue to resonate within the hearts of her family for generations to come.

Dolores was also a kind sister and aunt to many, offering love and compassion to all who were fortunate enough to be part of her life. She was the cherished daughter of the late Pablo and the late Augustina Solis, who instilled in her the values of hard work, devotion, and familial bonds.
