Dolores F. Gabriele

Dolores F. Gabriele, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at her home in Yardley, Pennsylvania, surrounded by her family.

Dolores was born on September 7, 1939 to Rose and Anthony Neri of Philadelphia. After graduating from South Philadelphia High School in 1957, Dolores dedicated many years as a legal secretary with LaBrum & Doak, Dechert, and Mr. Jimmy Binns. She loved the duties, the challenges, and the camaraderie this career offered.

Beyond her professional life, Dolores could be found reading one of her favorite paperback books, visiting The Borgata to try her luck at the many slot machines she loved, tuning in to cheer on the Phillies, or sitting on the porch at her beach house in Longport, New Jersey, admiring the weather and breathing in the salt air.

Dolores was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Mirra Neri, and her father, Anthony Neri. She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 62 years, James; her son James and daughter-in-law Jennifer; sister Frances Seneca and brother-in-law Anthony Seneca; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Most of all, Dolores will be sadly missed by her two furry companions and grandcats, Frankie & Finn, who she spoiled every day with love and cat treats.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Vincent Gangemi Funeral Home, Inc., 2238 S. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19145 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 12 pm. All are welcome to pay their respects and celebrate Dolores's exceptional life.

Interment will be planned for a later date at Saint Mark Cemetery, Bristol, Pennsylvania.
