Guardiola, Dolores C., was born on August 8, 1933 in Laredo, Texas to Conrado and Carmen Cruz. Dolores, who resided in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Alfredo. Loving mother of Deacon Fred (Peggy) Guardiola and Mary (Robert) Foucher. Dear sister of Conrado (Beatriz) Cruz Jr., Carmen (the late Ernesto) Solís, Magdalena (the late Edmundo) Tijerina and Maria Elena (Vincente) Dominguez. Dearest grandmother of Andrew, Joe and Katie (Taylor) Cutajar. Loving great-grandmother of Andrew Jr., Lola, Harper and Jameson. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents Conrado Sr. and Carmen Cruz and her siblings Martha (Benito) Castellano, Anita (Clemente) Valdez and Roberto (Sara) Cruz. Dolores will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Visitation Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 5900 Allen Rd. (313) 928-2300. In state Monday 10:30 a.m. with an 11:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection to follow at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 19624 Wood St, Melvindale. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
