Dolores M. Hines, 83, of Fremont, OH passed away on September 15, 2024 at her home. Dolores was born on May 19, 1941 to William Albert and Arlene Bertha (Marshall) Ellison in Fremont. She was a 1959 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. 

Dolores married Marvin Hines on September 16, 1961 in Fremont and he survives. She was a machine operator at Whirlpool for 31 years before retiring. She enjoyed adult coloring, listening to music, dancing with her husband and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved all of her pets.

Dolores is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Marvin Hines; children, Denise A. (Nelson) Santos, Hope Mills, NC, Blaine M. (Carmen) Hines, Mesa, AZ, Kimberly M. (Larry) Spann, Jacqueline M. (Jamie) Barnett, Christian A. (Angie) Hines, all of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Stacy (Lee) Root, Brandon Hines, Samantha Hines, Justin (Brittany) Hines, Darien (Elizabeth) Spann, Alexis Barnett, Taylor Spann, Jeffery Barnett, Elias Jaiz Andrew “EJ” Hines, Cyrus Hines and Jocelyn Hines; step grandchildren, Kianna and Kryztopher Rupp and eleven great grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marsha Smith and great granddaughter, Raquel Root.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory.
