Mickey, Dolores J., 94, Newton Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia. Born March 6, 1931, Sugar Valley, Mifflin County, daughter of the late James Earl and Lorna E. (Vaughan) McVey. She was married to Harold W. Mickey at the Newton Hamilton United Methodist Parsonage on August 6, 1952, and he preceded her in death on October 15, 2010. Also preceded in death by brother, John Robert McVey. Dolores is survived by two sons, James A. (Sue) Mickey and Calvin W. Mickey; and several nieces and nephews. She was a life-long member of the Newton Hamilton United Methodist Church and worked as a clerk at the former Saxe’s Department Store, Mount Union. At Mrs. Mickey’s request all services will be private with a burial at the Newton Hamilton Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
