Dolores Kathryn Otterdahl

Dolores Kathryn Anderson Otterdahl, age 84, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at her home.
Born July 15, 1940, in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of the late Carl Edward Anderson and Anna Katherine Jackson Anderson. She was married to Ronald Leroy Otterdahl until his death in 2020. She was also preceded in death by a son, Stephen Otterdahl; and sisters, Janice Wahlberg and Shirley Bermudez.
Dolores was formerly an insurance clerk with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and crocheting, especially toys and blankets for her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her love for her Heavenly Father was evident in all she did.
She is survived by her sons, Nathan Otterdahl of Anderson, Mark Otterdahl of New Hope MN, and Philip Otterdahl (Karen) of Anderson; grandchildren, Nicole Freshwater (Brent) of North St. Paul, MN, Christopher Otterdahl (Amber) of Shakopee, MN, Elijah Otterdahl of Anderson, and Briella Otterdahl of Anderson; and great granddaughter, Amelia Freshwater.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 1:00-1:45 pm at Oakwood Baptist Church. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Michael Jones officiating. Her final resting place will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Bloomington, Minnesota.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oakwood Christian School, 304 Pearman Dairy Rd., Anderson, SC 29625.
