Dolores A. "Dolly" Shuleski, 90, a lifetime resident of Exeter, passed away on Thursday at the United Methodist Homes, Wesley Village Campus with her family by her side. Dolly spent the past several months under the tremendous care of Hospice of The Sacred Heart, Dunmore.
Born in Exeter, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Emilia Ramunno DeAngelo.
Dolly was a graduate of Exeter High School and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church (Corpus Christi Parish), Exeter.
Prior to her retirement, she had worked in the garment industry as a seamstress.
She enjoyed attending bingo, playing cards with her sister-in-laws, dinners at Valenti's & Pizza L'Oven and trips to the casino.
She loved to host Sunday dinners with her entire family.
Preceding her in death were her husband, William Shuleski, in 2010; and her son, David J., in 2023.
Surviving are her children, Rick and his wife, Chris Shuleski, Duryea, Robert Shuleski and Gracelyn Borini, West Wyoming; Karen Dobosh, Haines City, Fla.; and Debbie Shuleski, Exeter; grandchildren, Jami and husband, Matt Koch; Scott Shuleski; Nicole and husband, Shane Hirschler; Lauren Shuleski; Justin Shuleski and wife, Rebecca; Michael Dobosh; Nicholas Shuleski; and Ryan Shuleski; great-grandchildren, Natasha and Jude Koch, Xavier and Sophia Hirschler and Addie and Bennett Shuleski.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gubbiotti Funeral Home LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
A funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday from funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church (Corpus Christi Parish), 224 Memorial St., Exeter. The Rev. Paul McDonnell, O.S.J. will be celebrant.
Interment with Rite of Committal will be in St. John the Slovak Cemetery, Schooley Street, Exeter.
