Dolores Auriel Sibble a former resident of 117 Trapping Brook Road Trapping Road passed away on Tuesday April 27, 2010 at the Highland Health Care Center. She was born on June 26, 1915 in Sheffield, PA, to George and Eunice Keifer Shepard. On September 15, 1934 she married C. Daniel Sibble who predeceased her on December 30, 1993.
Dolores was a long time resident of Trapping Brook Road who loved to play bridge with her neighbors during the 1940's and 1950's. She had worked for a short time at Air Preheater and liked to travel. Dolores loved having her family around and was a wonderful grandmother to all of her many grand, great and great great grandchildren.
Survivors include: 3 daughters, Donna Fox of St. Petersburg, FL., Deanna (William) Wonderling of Wellsville and Diane (James) Jennings of Churchville; a son Donald (Michele) Sibble of Wellsville; a daughter in law Rita Sibble of Wellsville; 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren; a sister Pearl Childress of Wellsville and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son David Sibble in 1997; a grandson Dean Wonderling in 1985; 3 sisters, Ruth Zaffino, Opal Littlefield and Virginia Williams.
Friends may call on Friday from 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm in the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville where her funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday. Rev. Robin George will preside and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials in Dolores's name may be giving to either the American Cancer Society or to the Highland Health Care Activities Center.
