Dolores Smith, was born on Friday June 15th, 1962 in Nixon, TX to Freddy Joe and Patsy Pape Smith. She attended high School in Nixon, Texas during her younger years and continued her education at Cuero College in Cuero, Tx. She received her nursing certification. She married Thomas Torres on January 1st., 1991 in Nixon, Tx and they shared three children from this union. Dolores, moved to Levelland from Nixon, Tx on November 28th, 2010. She worked for The Rehab and retirement centers in Levelland as a CNA for several years. Also for Swackhammer's Texas Grill Restaurant, I Don't Know Dinner, and Secretary for Worley's for several years. Dolores, liked going to the Beach to Port Aransas Texas, spending quality time with all her family and grandbabies, enjoyed working on her yard and floral garden. Her favorite little animals she had at her home was Peacocks, Rabbits, and Ferrets.
