Dolores Davis Trivette

Dolores Davis Trivette, passed peacefully on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in High Point at the age of 91.

Born on April 12, 1934, Dolores was the daughter of the late Norman Ransom Davis and Willie Valentine Davis. She grew up in High Point, North Carolina, and was a proud graduate of High Point High School. Dolores dedicated her life to her family, raising five children while working tirelessly for nearly 50 years at High Point Regional Hospital. She cherished time spent with her children, and especially the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as Grandma Dee.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Gloria Davis McHenry and Carolyn Davis Norman; and her son-in-law, David Barry Cook. She is survived by her children: her daughters Laurie Trivette Cook, Lisa Trivette Sewell (Scott); her sons James Trivette (Kathy), David Trivette (Van), and Mark Trivette (Maria), her loving grandchildren: Jennifer Trivette Mangum, Amy Trivette King, David Brian Trivette, Zachary Trivette, Christopher Trivette, Brian Clodfelter, and Samuel Sewell; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a private graveside service at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.
