Mrs. Dolores Pauline Spanolia Verges

Dolores Spanolia Verges, age 76 and a lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, entered peacefully into the presence of Our Lord on Thursday, May 2, 2013. Daughter of the late Salvador P. and Mary S. Spanolia. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert A. (Bobby) Verges, Sr., and her four children Robert A. Verges, Jr., Frank T. Verges, Marilyn Verges Parker (Jesse) and Diane M. Verges. She was a blessed and devoted grandmother to her four grandchildren, Jesse D. Parker, Jr., Justin Kyle Parker, Ashley Victoria Accardo and Ava Mary Accardo, and caring sister of Marilyn J. Spanolia. Also survived by many faithful family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 10:00 am until service time.
