John P Boblett

I regret that this is so very late, but Dom came to my memory this morning and I recalled immediately the friendship that we developed while in the Army. He and I served together in the First U.S. Army Band, at Ft. G.G. Meade, Maryland. He was a marvelous clarinet and saxophone player. Very talented. I played Bass Trombone. In the Spring of 1969, Dom found out that I had began fly fishing and we decided to get together and go out one day. We made several more forays to various rivers in Maryland. I remember the day that Dom landed his first trout. Next day he told me how good it was for dinner the previous evening.
Please accept my belated sympathies upon the loss of Dom. I am pleased to learn of his wonderful life and his loving family.
