Beloved father of Anthony (Jennifer Jankowski) and Nicholas (Irina) Cimato; loving son of Anthony and Maria (nee Iannizzi) Cimato Sr.; dear brother of Ferdinando (Mary D.) Cimato, Maria Concetta (Fabio) Cirulli, Robert (Kelly) Cimato, Francesco (Nicole) Cimato and the late Anthony Cimato, Jr.; also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 4th, from 3-7 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC,. 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 5th, at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Rd., Pendleton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Athletes in Action, "Call To Courage Award", 651 Taylor Dr., Xenia, OH 45385 or the SPCA Serving Erie County, 300 Harlem Rd., West Seneca, NY 14224. Dominic was a great teacher and mentor of mine. I owe much to his patient yet rigorous teaching style. Even though we had different politics we became and stayed friends. Deepest condolences to his family. I will greatly miss him.
