Dominic DiValerio

Dominic DiValerio, age 78, of Chadds Ford, PA passed away September 1st, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, and previously from Aston, PA, Dominic resided in his dream home he built for his family in Chadds Ford, PA 32 years ago.
Dominic was a retired Steamfitter from Local #420, who served his country faithfully in Vietnam. He enjoyed his retirement, riding his tractor and feeding his fish in his pond. Dominic was extremely handy and loved to work around his home. He was passionate about fishing and spent many days casting a line in Marsh Creek with his family. Dominic enjoyed hunting and sharing stories of his adventures during his younger days over a beer and a shot of Grand-dad. He was a wonderful cook and loved preparing homemade pizzelles, pasta, and wine, to share with his family and friends. Dominic lived a happy life with an infectious smile and presence that touched all who met him. He treasured his family and the time spent with them, and he will be greatly missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Mary Catherine Welsh DiValerio. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Gloria DiValerio, sons; Dominic (Georgi) DiValerio and Dan (Christina) DiValerio, grandchildren; Dominic, Danielle, Samantha, Paige and Austin.
