Don H Bestor Jr, 77, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024.
Don was born March 30, 1946 in Manhattan, NY to Don and Beulah (Pinbell) Bestor. He graduated from the Berklee School of Music and the University of New Hampshire. He spent his career as a jazz pianist musician. He was the President of the Ft. Pierce Jazz and Blues Society for 16 years.
Don’s passion for jazz led him to create and play with the showband, Trademark. He and his beloved wife toured with Trademark for more than 25 years. When Don took time away from playing the piano with the showband, he loved to play golf and read. He will be missed dearly by all the lives he touched with his music. Don felt real freedom when he was riding his motorcycle.
Don will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Deborah Liguori-Bestor of Port St. Lucie, FL, son, Don H. Bestor III; grandson, Aden Bestor both of Orlando, FL and sister Robyn Byrne and her family.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 4PM to 6:30PM with a service to be begin at 6:30PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
