Don Lee Brown, 74, of Coldspring, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. He was born in Baytown, Texas on March 10, 1951 to Leonard and Minnie Mae Brown.

Don dedicated over 25 years of his career to Exxon, where he worked as a process technician. Beyond his professional life, he was known for his many passions and talents. An avid deer hunter, Don found peace and joy in the outdoors. He was also a skilled craftsman whose handiwork reflected his attention to detail and dedication. He was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus, living out his faith through service to others. He was also proud to have served his country in the United States Navy. Above all, Don was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Minnie Mae Brown; his beloved wife, Wanda Brown; his brother, Leonard Brown; and his daughter, Kimberly Shafer.

He is survived by his son, Sonny Ware; his granddaughter Ashley Conway, her husband Matt Conway, and their children, Lincoln and Sawyer Conway; his grandson Josh Shafer, his wife Andrea Shafer, and their children Hallie and Hudson Shafer; his granddaughter Briel Ware and her children, Grayson, Zaylee, and Harlie; his grandson Bryson Ware and his son Jaxxon; five sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family would like to give special thanks to Elaine Brown and Leona Leavins for their devoted love and care to Don during his final days.

Don's legacy of hard work, devotion to family, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
