He was born September 22, 1951, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Donald and Eleanor (Crew) Haussler. He attended Kansas City Kansas Public Schools and graduated from Washington High School. He then attended college where he reached his Masters in Education. Don was a high school math teacher in Kansas City Kansas for many years and also taught math at KCKCC. He then moved to Sheboygan, Wisconsin with his wife, Marie.
He is survived by his children, Stephen Haussler, KS; and Andrea (Paul) Andrews, KS; and his 5 grandchildren, Isabella Haussler, Everly Haussler, Addilyn Andrews, Emmett Andrews, and Silas Andrews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Marie.

I was a junior or a senior when Don came to Basehor, I never had him as an instructor.A Friend of mine and I would go over Don`s apartment and have few beers. He went out with us for pizza couple times after football games
I also remember installing a CB radio in Don `s Dodge ram charger.
Much later in life, we were able to reconnect and tutored my daughter in high school calculus. So sorry to Here of his passing
