Still watch the show when I´m feeling sad or lonely because you bring me comfort. You are still greatly missed. You were a beam of light. I know you and Andy are flying high and making jokes.

I am Mrs Brenda Bamburg now 70, I just want to say there has never been a comedy show as intertaining & funny as The Andy Griffith show & never will be another that the whole family can watch together. I raised my kids on that show AS well as I grew up on it.. I'm.now 70. I can not express my gratitude for being blessed to have had that show to watch as a youth & my children.. I hope the cast on Andy Griffith will be some of the first brothers & sisters I see when I cross over...THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS STAYING FAMILY ORIENTED IN YOU OTHER ENDEAVORS OF ACTING.. I KNOW YOU ARE AT PEACE...

Don you don't know how you made my life simpler to meet people and make friends every where as an Air force paramedic at Clark AFB in the Philippines or as unpaid citizen lobbyist in Washington DC where I visited every Congressional Office on the hill many times. Every Office seems to recognized me as a friend when I induced my self as Don Fife, you know, Barney Fife's cousin. Ron Reagan invited me to the W.H. for lunch...he was also a fan!

Thank you for the wonderful lifelong memories of laughter, your art touched so many, and you are truly missed.

I have all of the Andy Griffith episodes and watch them on a regular basis. Don was absolutely awesome on that show! He made it pop along with the rest of the great cast. When I heard you talk about your Dad making you laugh, even on his death bed it really hit home. My Dad was a very funny man the last thing I remember him saying to me & my sisters was, I hope when you girls remember me, you remember me as making you laugh and that he did! I watched all your dads movies with my Dad loved The ghost & Mr. Chicken your dad even looked like mine.

don was 1 of the best at making all laugh..i rank don knotts, jackie gleason,phil silvers,carroll o'conor ,dean martin and don rickles as the funniest guys ever...you were great don '' just great beyond your time..there is no one that could have played barney fife other than you are phil silvers...you are with the creator that made you..keep him laughing till the Heavens open up and spill out..
