Don Lender

Don was a good friend who really cared about his family, other people, doing a good job and telling a good story....no matter how many times you heard it!
We all miss him and the memories of him never fades.

I am sorry to hear about Don. He was a great guy and he always made me laugh.

I am sorry to hear of Don's passing. I enjoyed Don's enthusiasm for his work when we worked together in Grinnell. My sympathies to those close to Don and those impacted by his passing.

Don was a guy who genuinely cared for people; students, co-workers, friends, and especially his family (always talked about them). Don also had the ability to bring smiles to your face, even in the toughest of situations. Don impacted many people in Grinnell and its school system, and he will be greatly missed. Tara and I are praying for the Lender family through this difficult time.

My late husband Charlie collaborated on a lot of projects with Don during his time at Grinnell. May the stories that are sure to come forth in the coming days give you a measure of comfort.
