Don A. "Britches" Lynch, passed away on March 24, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, at the age of 60. Born on February 2, 1965, in Circleville, Ohio, Don lived a life rich with love for his family and friends.
For the last 4 years, Don was a forklift operator at Angstrom Fibers. His true passion lay in the connections he fostered with his family. Known for being family-oriented, Don cherished his children and enjoyed a particularly strong bond with his brothers. He had a joyful spirit, often bringing laughter to those around him with his playful demeanor and good-natured jokes.
Don was a diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys, proudly displaying his loyalty to the team. Alongside his love for football, he had a deep appreciation for music, particularly R&B and rap.
He is survived by his special friend, Stephanie Fortner, along with his children, Sheena Turner, Ciara Lynch, Donica (Stephon) Elder, Christina Lynch, Donisha (Seleicka) Lynch, Don Lynch, Jr., Brittany Conley, Shelby Conley, and Gregory (Kylee) Lynch. He also leaves behind 13 cherished grandchildren, and a host of nephews and nieces who will continue to carry his legacy forward.
Don's father, Don Lynch, alongside his brothers Phillip (Toni) Lynch, Jeffrey (Toni) Lynch, and Christopher Lowe, as well as his sister-in-law Lois Lynch all mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Lynch, his son D'juan Scott, his sister Dawn Lowe, and his brother Richard Lynch.
As family and friends come together to honor Don’s life, they will undoubtedly remember him for his kindness, his distinctive sense of humor, and the profound affection he held for each of them. His memory will forever be etched in their hearts, a testament to a life lived with passion and devotion.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am -12:00pm on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the memorial service will begin at 12:00pm. To share a memory of Don or to leave his family a special message, please sign the online guestbook provided.
