Don C. Malone age 88 of Greeneville passed away Tuesday September 2, 2025 at Laughlin Health Care. He was Baptist by faith and the founder of Malone Wrecker Service in 1971. He was well known for his side venture businesses. He is survived by his sons Lynn (Beverly) Malone and Jeff (Belinda) Malone, girlfriend Phyllis Smith, grandchildren Jason Malone and Tina Malone, step grandson Michael (Laura) Hopson, great grandchildren Gracie Saulsbury, Matthew Hopson, Leighton Hopson, sisters Marilyn Malone and Margie Crum, nieces and nephews Terry (Becky) Malone, Michelle (Neal) Hall, Michael (Teresa) Malone, Jimmy Crum, Timmy Crum, Lisa Crum. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Blanche Malone, grandson Scott Malone, daughter-in-law Lolita Malone, brother-in-laws Buster Malone and James Crum. The family will receive friends from 3-7pm Friday September 5, 2025 at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service Downtown. The funeral service will be Saturday at 2pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Roger Gross and Rev. Ruey Davis officiating. The committal service will follow in Zion Cemetery at Baileyton. Pallbearers will be Michael Hopson, Tony Moorman, Jamie Jones, Cody Gass, Neal Hall, and Dennis Daugherty. Honorary pallbearers will be Brayden Daugherty, Lynn Hope, Sheronda Hope, Stephanie Brobeck, Ronnie Brown, Edgar Davis, Donnie Bell, Chester Brown, Employees of Malone Wrecker Service, Employees of Laughlin Health Care, Employees of Amedisys Hospice, Kathy Malone, Lisa Malone, Dr. Candi Overholt, and several other special friends.
