Plus I once visited with you by phone for what must have been the most exciting phone call I ever had. You set me on my path which included working with Darrell Hammond in Orlando.
Sorry this is two hundred years late and thank you anyway!

I CAN REMEMBER DON PARDO'S RICH BARRITONE VOICE IN MANY THINGS. HE WAS A LEGEND, EVEN WHEN I WAS A YOUNGSTER. HE DID MANY INTROS, GAME HOST SHOWS, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, YOU NAME IT. I COULD GO ON AND ON, AND I AM SURE THERE ARE A LOT OF FOLKS WHO REMEMBER THEIR FAVORITE THING HE DID. I JUST WANTED MY NAME FOR THE RECORD, AND I DO REMEMBER HIM. HE WILL BE TERRIBLY MISSED, BUT I PROMISE YOU ALL, NEVER FORGOTTEN! A GREAT MAN! ANOTHER PART OF MY PAST GONE!

What a powerful GOD GIVEN talented voice he was given! I remember many blessed years listening to his voice on TV. He will be easy to find, listen for his voice in the Heavenly Choir. Art Mauger.

Don Pardo's voice has always been a part of my life. And I've recognized his voice on SNL all these years. He will sincerely be missed!

I had the pleasure of working with Mr Pardo when I was a roadie for Frank Zappa .. This was during the Live From New York recordings I think in 1976 or 77 as he was" The Slime on Your Video " As I recall it was his first live stage performance as in the front of the curtain … I hope he and Frank and having a great time out there some where.
