Dr. Don Thomas

I am so very sorry to just now learn of Dr. Don´s passing. I met both he and precious Emma Jean in the course of my career in the healthcare industry.
We spent time together for several years at a stroke related conference in Florida.
Later, when our family returned to GA, I was able to rely on Senator Don for wise advice and bipartisan support on legislation that always helped other people. He was always willing to lend an ear on a variety of issues important to the League of Women Voters.
Don and Emma Jean will never be forgotten by our family. A life well lived in service to others.

Great guy. Very unassuming, but very effective as a legislator-where I knew him best.
