Don Wentz Obituary
Donald Wentz, went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2024. Don was born on February 9, 1935. Don was proceeded in death by his wife Katherine Carlisle Wentz, brothers, Doug Wentz, and Billy Wentz.
Don served in the United States Army for two years and was in the reserves for four years. Don was a native Gaston County resident that played on many Belmont Red Raider teams during the 1950's. Don coached youth baseball and basketball over the years, he was also a huge Duke University fan. Don retired from McKenney Chevrolet after many years as a salesman. Don was a long-time member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church. Don was known as 'Mr. St. Marks'.

Celebration of Life: Saturday June 1, 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at St. Marks United Methodist Church
