Donald Beecher Obituary

Wayne Beecher, 80, of Dover, NH, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025.
Wayne began his career working as International Director of Purchases for the Torrington Company. He later transferred with his family to Syracuse, NY, where he served as General Manager of the Kilian Company. Eventually, Wayne pursued his passion for entrepreneurship and founded what would become Patrick's Cleaners of Westvale, where he became an active and valued member of the local community.
Wayne attended the University of Connecticut and later served as the President of the Board of Directors at the YMCA in Torrington. He was an enthusiastic golfer, a devoted Boston Red Sox fan, and a true animal lover, especially fond of his cat Maggie and countless family dogs. He also enjoyed surf casting along the shores of Cape Cod and enjoying the beach with his family.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Noreen; his daughters, Christine and her husband Ken Paradis, Kate and her husband Steve Johnson, and Liz and her husband Chris Sower; and his grandchildren, Livie, Gracie and Ben Paradis, Nick and Lexie Johnson, and Max and Joey Sower. He is also survived by his siblings: sisters Donna and her husband Robert Zuffelato, Debbie and her husband Peter Pasquale, and brother Stephen and his wife Patricia Beecher.
He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Isabella Beecher, and his sister Margaret Hlavacek.
Wayne will be remembered for his warm heart, humor, and the deep love he had for his family, friends, and community.
Please join us in celebrating his life Saturday morning September 6, 2025, at 11:00am for service at St. Joseph's Parish, 150 Central Avenue, Dover, NH. All friends and family are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to dementiasociety.org or stjude.org.
