The memorial celebration of life service will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, November 2nd, 2025 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a family and friends gathering from 2-3 prior to the service.
Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
Don was born July 28, 1943 to Buford Clinton & Bonnie Louise Schubert Allen in Wayne County, Tennessee. Traveling was his passion. He worked at Daubert Coated Products for over 41 years. Don loved sports, especially Alabama football and the Atlanta Braves and he also loved coaching ball. He was a member of Cullman Church of the Nazarene.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother and father-in-law, George & Nell Dillard; brother, Eddie Allen; sister, Patti Cantrell.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Linda Dillard Allen; daughters, Cindy (Shan) Pearson, Jennifer (Darrin) Smith; sister, Linda Cowart; grandchildren, Austin Smith, Katie (Austin) Lenn, Anna Grace (Costa) Marinakis, Leah Bailey, Clay Pearson, Cole (Clair) Pearson; great-grandchildren, Ava McCurry, Aiden McCurry, Charlie Marinakis, Truett Williams, Emerson Lenn; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
