Donald R. Baker

Donald R. Baker, aged 88, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2026. He was born on August 25, 1937, in London, Kentucky, to Fearl C. Baker and Hazel Baker (née Ball).

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Fearl C. Baker; his mother, Hazel Baker; his beloved wife, Julie Baker; his sister, Ruth Baker; and his son, Danny Baker and step-daughter, Debra Tate. 

He is survived by his son, David C. Baker (Michelle); his daughter, Tina Kyle; his sister, Dorothy "Dottie" Korn; as well as nieces Terry Hartke and Rita Glardon (Paul), along with a host of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A joyous spirit, Donald had a passion for life that included boating and showcasing his cherished El Camino at car shows. Donald was also the long time owner of the Ludlow Bromley Yacht Club in Ludlow, KY. He found happiness in simple pleasures, such as relaxing by the pool with a refreshing beverage.

Funeral Ceremony will be 12:00 pm Monday, March 9, 2026 with a visitation from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
