Donald Barratt Obituary
Donald was born in St. Albans, VT to Donald and Irene (Wanzer) Barratt on July 8, 1952. For the past 5 years Donald has lived at Elderwood Nursing Home in Burlington, VT. In earlier years, Donald worked for George-Yett Bag Co in Swanton, VT until his eye sight worsened and he was unable to continue to work.
Donald leaves one daughter, Nathalie Peliquin Barratt; Sisters, Shirley Barratt, Donna Barratt (Charles Parizo), Brenda (Bill) Daniels, a brother Gary(Julie) Barratt; Aunts, Florabelle Meserve, Shirley (Michael) Korte and Vida Barratt; Nieces- Christina (David) Devost, Destinee, Desirae, Kayleigh and Roselynn, Nephews- William (Adrienne) Daniels Jr, and Faron (Crissy) Barratt; Cousins- Arlene Parks, Wayne Barratt, Kenny and Elmira Murray, Tim Gero, Kim Rushford, Lisa Greenia, Fred Vanslette, Marc Korte, Nancy Walker, Angela Hoague, Sally and Roger Barratt, Deborah Laroche.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Irene Barratt, his grandparents Vernil and Amelia Barratt and Alice Wanzer, an infant brother Richard Barratt as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Swanton, VT on Monday, November 24 th at 2:30pm. Service by Reverand Kathleen Schott.
Thank you to all the staff for their care, kindness and friendship shown to Donald during his stay at Elderwood. Donald will be missed by many.
