After a short illness, Donald Barrs departed this life on June 21, 2025 at Henry Ford Providence, Southfield, Michigan. He is survived by sisters, Yolanda Smith (Lawrence Smith), Jamesina Parker, Rufus Herron, brother-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. His sisters, Daisy Jackson and Fredricka Herron, preceded him in death. Special Acknowledgement to Earlene May.
