Donald Ray Beck, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, peacefully passed away from natural causes. He was born on February 8, 1950, in Fort Worth, Texas, to R.V. Beck and Brooksie Irene Sparkman. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, deeply woven into the hearts of those who knew him.
A devoted husband to his beloved wife, Deborah Beck, Donald celebrated nearly 56 beautiful years of marriage filled with laughter, support, and unwavering commitment. As the rock of his family, he exemplified intelligence and dependability, providing guidance and nurturing to his loved ones throughout the years.
An accomplished engineer, Donald dedicated his career to his profession with the same passion and tenacity he showed in his personal life. He was known for his analytical mind and problem-solving abilities, and colleagues admired him for his reliability and insight.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Donald enjoyed the thrill of gambling at WinStar, where he found joy mingling with friends and family around the card tables. His laughter and warmth will forever echo in the memories shared around those tables.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Deborah; his three daughters, Jennifer, Amy, and Tami; his sister, Betty Joe Wills; as well as seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, R.V. and Irene, and his two brothers, Dalton and Jimmy.
Don’s Celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, TX 76013.
