Donald Ray Berka, 66 of
Caldwell, Texas went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2023. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday December 4, 2023 at Oaklawn Cemetery in
Somerville, Texas.
Donald was born on May 23, 1957 to Quincy and Ruthie Jo (Roundtree) Berka in Burleson County. He was the oldest of four siblings. He graduated from Caldwell High School in 1976.
Donald loved his lifetime career as a mechanic and was well known not just for his work, but for his love of people and friends. He was well respected in the Caldwell community, and he will be deeply missed.
Donald loved riding his Harley with his friends; but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. His family always came first.
Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Berka; brother and best friend, Jay Berka, his mother, Ruthie Dugat and his daughter Mysti Berka.
He is survived by his father Quincy Berka, daughter Deela Berka; sisters, Karen Mills and Dianna Williams; grandchildren, Taylor, Alexander, Braylon, Caiden, Breiah and Deion.
