I was so sorry to hear of Don's passing. Missed his presence at school for years and often ran into him at JJP and Chickasaw performances. I so remember his Lord of the Rings class and his love of literature. He was a kind man.

Dr. Bloom introduced me to my favorite author in high school. He really helped me understand books at a deep level. I also had a great time acting in his plays! Rest in peace and may your heaven be filled with books!!!
