Donald Borella Obituary
Don began his career with Ironworkers Local #263 in Dallas, Texas, where he earned the distinction of Apprentice of the Year. He went on to work as a surveyor and later as a manager for Walmart until his retirement.
Don was preceded in death by his father, George "Chuck" Borella, mother, Elna Borella, sister, Cindy Borella Barker, nephew, Billy "Trey" Blackburn. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cherie Blackburn Borella, sons Brady Borella and Michael Borella and wife Cagney, grandson, James Borella, Brother, Larry Borella and wife Lucille, Brother-in-law, Billy Blackburn and many other close relatives, friends and loved ones.
The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of Methodist Center, Oak Ridge, ICU/CCU for the wonderful care they provided.
Visitation will be December 5, 2025, 6:30-8:30 at Weatherford Mortuary, in Oak Ridge.
Private graveside services Saturday, December 6, 2025.
