Donald R. 'Donnie' Bragg, age 60, of Jeffersonton, VA passed on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at Reston Hospital Center in Reston, VA surrounded by his family. He was born on January 2nd, 1964 in Arlington, VA, son of the late, Floyd & Sylvia Bragg.
In 1985 Donnie began working in the electrical industry at Branch Electric in
Warrenton, VA in the warehouse and quickly worked his way to counter sales. He developed an interest and Iove of the industry and continued working there for 23 years, during which time Branch Electric was bought by Rexel Supply.
In 2008 he began working for Electrical Wholesalers in
Warrenton, VA which later became Maurice Electric. He was active in the opening of the Warrenton store as the store manager.
Donnie enjoyed many things in life and lived it to the fullest. He had a great love for traveling and was always planning the next trip. In past years he enjoyed gardening and golfing. The Andy Griffith Show, The Three Stooges and The Flintstones are just a few old shows that he enjoyed watching.
He also had a great love for collecting Klein tools, both antique and new. He belonged to the Klein Tool Collectors Club where he had many friends that he made worldwide.
Donnie attended The Journey Church in Remington, Va with Pastor Kevin Dawson whom he had known since he was a young boy.
Family, friends and coworkers will all miss Donnie's kind nature, handshakes and big hugs.
Donnie is survived by his life partner of 33 years, Sandie Caudill of Jeffersonton, VA; Sandie's son, Shannon Caudill & his wife, Patti of
Trinity, FL; brother, Danny Bragg & his wife, Pam of Rehoboth Beach, DE; sister, Debbie Breihan & her husband, Fritz of St. Louis, MO; and a special nephew, Danny Lee Bragg of Alexandria, VA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his brother, Glen Bragg.
The family will receive visitors from 12:30 to 2 pm on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave. in
Warrenton, VA. A funeral service will be held in the Moser Funeral Home chapel at 2 pm followed by interment at Midland Church of the Brethren cemetery in Midland, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
