Donald Brain Obituary
He was born on June 21, 1939, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, the son of Charles and Boneita (Knapp) Brain. Donald was a proud U.S. Army veteran. On April 4, 1987, he married Bonnie Macey, and they shared 38 loving years of marriage. Donald had many passions throughout his life. He enjoyed woodworking, caring for animals, and farming alongside his father. He also loved bus trips and spending time with family and friends. A devoted member of Pierpont Presbyterian Church, he served faithfully as both a trustee and elder.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Brain; his sister, Leah (Richard) Hart; and many nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Beverly (Young) Brain.
Funeral services will be held at Pierpont Presbyterian Church, 71 OH-7, Pierpont, Ohio. Calling hours will be on Sunday, July 13, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, with the funeral service to follow on Monday, July 14, at 11:00 AM. Donald will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
