Donald R. Brown

The passing of my Uncle Don brings up so many memories. The Holiday Dinners at grandmom DeRocco's house, the family reunions in Norristown and how lucky I was to have time with all of my uncles and aunts. It's that warm feeling of security in remembering Uncle Mondue, Uncle Bud, and Uncle Don. The memories reminding me of how lucky I was to have strong wise men who pointed us in the right direction, did not judge but encouraged, men who lead by example not fear.

I will always cherish the talks of trout fishing, pheasant hunting and walking in the woods. There is no replacement for men of their callable, the is no way to say goodbye, they were larger than life and will always bring a smile and a warm feeling remembering all of them. To my uncle Don, thank you for allowing all of us to share the love you brought to the family.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life´s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of God, family and friends. Please find comfort in the words found at Isaiah 61: 1,2.
