Don Bruno, 90, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 29, 1934, to Albert and Florence (nee Schrader) Bruno in Racine, Wisconsin. He moved to Ohio to pursue his career at Procter & Gamble. While in Cincinnati he met and married his wife, Judy. During their 59 years of marriage, they raised two children.
Don was a man who loved being outside and remained active by working in his vegetable garden, racing standardbred horses, traveling, taking beach vacations with his family all while staying fit at the gym.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Florence Bruno (nee Schrader). He is survived by his loving wife, Judy, sister Carol Svoren, children, Karen (David) Fallis, Cindy (Richard) Newsom. Also, his grandchildren, Nicole (Brennan and soon to be great grandchild) Hiatt, Sarah Newsom, Sean Fallis and nieces and nephews.
Visitation (10am) and mass (11am) and reception (12pm) will take place at Our Lady of Sorrows located at 330 Lebanon St., Monroe, Oh 45050 on Thursday, March 6th.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, the American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
