Donald Christy Obituary
He was born March 25, 1950, in Butler, son of the late Harold and Betty (Sommer) Christy.
Don was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and a member of American Legion Post 778. He enjoyed golfing in Thursday and Friday night leagues and bowling in Tuesday and Thursday night leagues. Don worked for 34 years at Culligan Water and later spent many years as a part-time driver for Hovis Auto and Truck Supply.
Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Nancy (Brewster) Christy, of Butler; his son, Ryan (Anna) Christy, of Gibsonia; six grandchildren, Robert Slater, Brianna (Andy) Molnar, Matthew (JaElle Harper) Christy, Alysis (Nick) Bridges, Isaiah Christy and Ruri (Brian Johns) Christy; three great-grandchildren; his brother, Robert (Alice) Christy, of Butler; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Leo.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Heidi Lynn Geroff; and his sister, Patricia Holt.
CHRISTY - A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Donald E. Christy, who died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026.
Arrangements have been entrusted to YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, Butler.
