Donald Click Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crestview Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home on Mar. 9, 2026.
Donald Lloyd Click, 75, of Mulga, Alabama, passed peacefully in his sleep on March 6, 2026.

Don was born September 9, 1050, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Jack and Louise Click. After graduating from Wurzburg American High School in Germany in 1968, his family moved back to Sylvan Springs where he began a career in construction that eventually took him to Miami.

Don's greatest pride and joy was his family. He cherished every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. One of his favorite pastimes was gold mining, a hobby he greatly enjoyed. He also loved boating and flying adventures. His love for life, sense of adventure, and deep devotion to his family left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Louise Mezick Click; his younger brother, Steve Click; younger sister, Joyce Click Dyas.

Don leaves behind his beloved children, Donald W. Click (Carolyn), Stephanie Moore (Bubba), and Kourtney Ochello (Brandon). He was a proud grandfather to Kacy Bunn (Jade), Sarah Smith (Michael), Jesse Click, Lauren Click, Brandon Ochello, Jr., Brooklyn Ochello, Bella Ochello, Brax Ochello, and a cherished great-grandfather to Dan Bunn, Kate Bunn, Aniston Smith, and Meleah Smith. He is also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins from the Mezick and Click families.

Don's warmth, humor, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family that will live on in the hearts of those he cherished most.

Visitation for Don will be Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home (5250 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Adamsville, Alabama). Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Interment will be at Crestview Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish, may make a donation to the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation (8 Sorrento Dr., Osprey, FL 34229) in memory of Donald L. Click. Donations can be made online at PMSF.org. Above all, your presence, messages, and support mean the most to the family during this time.
