Donald "Donnie" F. Creamer, 80, passed away on November 24, 2025, in Panama City, FL.
Born on October 31, 1945, in Panama City, FL, Donnie grew up in the small community of Parker.
Donnie honorably served his country in the United States Army and Army Reserve, earning the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Combat Infantryman Badge, as well as the Good Conduct Medal.
After his military service, Donnie spent decades sailing the world as a skilled Master Mariner. Over the course of his career, Captain Creamer navigated an incredible range of waters-from the rugged coast of Nova Scotia to New York Harbor, coastwise from Maine to Florida, and through the Great Lakes and inland waterways.
His stories from the water were memorable-sometimes true, sometimes not-and always told with a grin that let you know he loved pulling your leg.
Donnie married Cynthia "Cindy" Mayo Creamer in 1984, and together they built a lifetime of memories in Lynn Haven, FL, until Cindy's passing last year.
More than any title he earned, Donnie cherished being "Grandpa" most of all. His grandsons were the light of his life and the source of his greatest pride and joy.
Donnie is survived by his brother, Laney Creamer, and his sister, Margaret Freeman; his children-Andrew Robinson, Garrison Creamer, and Lauren Creamer (Jacob Tomaszycki); his daughter-in-law, Leta Daniels; and his cherished grandsons, Olas Creamer, Aylam Creamer, and Lukas Tomaszycki. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew L. Creamer and Lena Belle Harrelson Creamer; his brothers, Andrew "Lewis" Creamer and Joseph "Willard" Creamer; and his sister, Carol Dority.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, November 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Cemetery. Donnie will be laid to rest beside his parents, a place he always wished to return to.
