Donald Cutri Obituary
A lifelong resident of Syracuse, Don will be remembered for his kindness toward others. He was a hard worker, a Pipefitter; he ran several marathons in his lifetime; he enjoyed golf and his Harley. He was a fan of live local music, especially bluegrass and the blues. He enjoyed the outdoors immensely, especially Lake Ontario. He was very charitable to others, in a quiet way, and while he wasn't an avid church-goer, he had an active faith in the goodness of God.
He is survived by his brother, Fr. Michael Galuppi, and many, many supportive and loving cousins and friends. Don is predeceased by his parents, Guidoni "WeWe" Cutri and Lucille (Blais) Galuppi.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Noon) at St. Vincent De Paul Church, 342 Vine St., Syracuse. Interment will take place in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday prior to the service, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church. Donations in memory of Don may be made to Assumption Food Pantry, 808 N. Salina Street, Syracuse or to any worthy cause close to your heart. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ironside Funeral Home, Inc., 342 Main St., Oneida. You may view full details and send the family a message of sympathy at www.ironsidefuneralhome.com.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Wonderful memories of Don from youth especially taking us to the quarry´s in his van to swim. We will always remember his kindness to us and his beautiful smile. Rest in peace Anne and Jason Revette.

Don was my cousin and I remember him as a gentle, laidback young kid. Also his dad, Uncle Wee introduced myself and wife Patti to boating in the local rivers, lakes and the canal. At that time Donnie and his dad named their boat the
"DON-WEE"....... Can you guess why??

When Uncle Wee past away, I requested from Donnie that I rename my boat in honer of his dad and he gave the OK.
So my boat was renamed the
C YA WEE from
C YA SYRACUSE.
I ran into Donnie one time when he was pipefitting up at Nine Mile Point nuclear facility where I was also working.
He was still that gentle kid that I remembered.
Condolences to his extended family members.....
Sorry for OUR LOSS.
