Among those who shared the most cherished memories with him was his cousin and brother at heart, Torye Dabbs and his cousin and sister Lashondria Benjamin. Their bond was extraordinary, interwoven with shared experiences and unspoken understanding, illuminating the power of familial love that transcends mere blood ties.

Donald’s personality was a blend of vivacious joy and gentle humility. He, harbored a special love for animals, reflecting his kind-hearted nature, which drew others to him like moths to a flame. His beautiful voice carried through the air, often accompanied by the rhythms of his passion for singing and rap. He could light up a room with his dancing, effortlessly channeling the magic of Michael Jackson, captivating all with his spirited moves.

As family and friends gather to remember the light of his life, they will convene for a Funeral Service at Love Lifted Me Baptist Church located in Balch Springs, Texas on May 17, 2025, at noon. Their hearts will be heavy, yet filled with gratitude for the myriad times Donald infused their lives with joy.

Life without Donald will be a quieter melody, yet the echoes of his vibrant personality, the warmth of his compassion, and the unforgettable memories he crafted will continue to resonate, reminding every soul that crossed his path of the profound beauty found within love, laughter, and togetherness. Donald Lewis Dabbs Jr. is survived by the treasured bonds he created and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those who loved him.
