Donald "Don" Daniszewski

North Lima - Donald "Don" Daniszewski, age 89, of North Lima, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Aventura at Assumption Village in North Lima.
He was born on March 29, 1935, in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late Anthony and Agnes Tomczak Daniszewski.
Don was a 1952 graduate of Fitch High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked several jobs but retired from South Range Schools in 2000 after 27 years. Don was a member of St. Jude’s Roman Catholic Church in Columbiana and was a member of the Mahoning Stamp Club. He enjoyed watching both the Cleveland Browns and Indians but had a passion for collecting classic cars. Don will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Doris Mary Parknavy Daniszewski, whom he married on October 18, 1958; four children, Michael G. (Lorraine) Daniszewski of Inverness, FL, Terrence D. Daniszewski of Struthers, Audrey A. (Brian) Cook of Lisbon, and Brian A. (Jennifer) Daniszewski of North Lima; a sister, Loretta Cohn of Homosassa, FL, and by five grandchildren, Shelby, Nathan, Lauren, Ben and Andrew.
Don was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Cownden.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the St Jude Roman Catholic Church in Columbiana.
Services will be held on Tuesday, at 11:00 am, at the church, with Father Chad Johnson officiating.
Burial will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield.
