Donald Thomas Daughrity, age 87, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Wednesday, July 25, 2023, at NHC Lewisburg.
Donald was born April 26, 1936, in Chapel Hill, TN, to the late Earl and Lizzie Tomlin Daughrity. He was employed by Walker Die Casting as a Tooling Engineer prior to his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling to many different locations to spend the day fishing with his son. He loved watching the Tennessee Titans and UT football.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Daughrity.
He is survived by his wife, Adell Leverette Daughrity; one son, James (Jan) Daughrity; one daughter, Jennifer Harris, all of Lewisburg; one grandson, Colin Harris; stepdaughter, Melody (Mike) Spence of Lewisburg; five brothers, Ed (Joy) Daughrity, Phillip Daughrity, Harold (Patsy) Daughrity, Gary (Brenda) Daughrity, and Ricky (Debbie) Daughrity; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Fant and Linda Jones; sister-in-law, Judy Daughrity.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or the American Cancer Society.
Graveside Service will be conducted on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home, 324 W. Church Street, Lewisburg, TN, on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with burial to follow at 1:00 pm in Swanson Cemetery.
