My childhood is filled with happy memories of Wayne and Dianne. Randee and Tracee were my closest friends while growing up.
There were dune buggy driving lessons, trips to Carmel and a very memorable 21st birthday celebration in Tahoe..
Of course there are memories of the corn dog booth at the fair.
I always enjoyed running into Diane and Wayne while I was out and about in Turlock.
I cannot imagine a Diane without a Wayne. The names flow out of my mouth singularly.
Love and prayers to Dianne, Randee, Tracee and the kids.

Hi. My name is Kellie Payne, however I met Wayne & Dianne when I was probably 4 or 5 as Kellie Smith. There is not enough room to wrote the feelings I have for Wayne. My first memory was when we were doing some work on his & Dianne's home and he took a handful of sunflower seeds and put them all in his mouth. Looking up to him, not only because he was very tall, but because I respected him, I took my handful of seeds and put them all in my mouth and you guessed it. I almost choked & spit them all out on the ground. I remember him & my birth father laughing. Laugh, Wayne had a great laugh & smile. I called him my own Clint Eastwood.
I worked the concession stands with them also and learned so much about life. I worked mostly with Randee and we had so much fun working the hot dog stand. Things that I'll never forget. After life moved forward, I would go to the fair every now & then and when I would see both Wayne & Dianne they would always so happy to see me and vice versa. Wayne had a smile that lit up his face. I'll never forget you Wayne. I tear up a little as I write this knowing my smiling Clint Eastwood is now a memory in my mind. I'll see you up there one day and I know you'll be there with open arms for a big hug. RIP and I'm happy you aren't in pain any longer. Love Kellie Payne (Smith)

Definitely a ton of memories - whether it was camping, rodeo events or corn dog booth fun it was great to be a part of his life. May he rest in peace and be free of poor health. Our thoughts and prayers for Dianne and the family
