Donald Dilling Obituary
He was born on May 3, 1948, in East Palestine, son of the late Jesse Dilling and Helen Gorby Dilling Minamyer.
Donald had worked as a cement truck driver for Chappell and Zimmerman, Salem. He was known for helping people and fixing things. Donald enjoyed doing crossword puzzles with his wife and family and always looked forward to Saturday morning breakfast.
His wife, Aleatha Ann Thomas Dilling, whom he married on June 12, 1967, preceded him in death on, August 23, 2023.
Donald is survived by his three daughters, Tina Vaughn of Leetonia, Ronda (Robert) Wichert of Leetonia and Gloria (Eric "Cory") Ostrander of Columbiana; two grandchildren, Ashley and Kristyana; six great grandchildren, Zoey, Bryston, Adalaya, Lyla, Jaxon and Jace and six half siblings.
He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Mathew Ostrander and a sister, Helen Duffield.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 11:30 am - 12:00 noon at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 12:00 noon at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Reverend Kerry Dean officiating.
Burial will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield.
