Donald Gene Swain, 58, of Cabot, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2024. He was born on January 24, 1966, in Benton, Arkansas, to Joyce Tittle and Donald G. Swain.
Donny dedicated many years to his career as a truck driver, most recently working for Heritage Transportation. Donny had a passion for life that was evident in everything he did. He had a particular love for live music and could often be found at local venues, dancing the night away with his beloved wife and companion, Kristi. Their shared joy on the dance floor was a testament to their strong bond. A loyal Razorback fan, Donny wore his team spirit proudly. He was a devoted family man who took great pleasure in hosting barbecues and cookouts for his loved ones and friends. These gatherings were known for good food, warmth, and laughter – much like Donny himself.
He is survived by his wife, Kristi Swain of nearly 18 years; sister, Karen Selby of Bryant, Arkansas; sister, Donna Jan Tedeton of Monroe, Louisiana; brother, Bennie Powell of Lonsdale, Arkansas; son, Chance Swain and Cameron of Benton, Arkansas; step-children, Chasity Webb, Rocky and Julie Holland, Eric and Janell Holland of Beebe, Arkansas; 9 grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Donny was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Tittle; father, Donald G. Swain Sr.; Step-father, Charles Briggs; and brother, Robert Swain.
Donny will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for music and dance, his dedication to his work, and his ability to bring people together. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
